I really should have looked at the weight of this scope because 770 grams is absurd for a 2-12, even if the specs are pretty good for the price.

Amazing compact scope with crystal clear picture like every Continental 34mm. Outstanding quality overall. I love the precise elevation turret with 3 revolutions and a visible and tactile indicator cylinder coming out from the top of the turret in the 2nd revolution (about 1 mm) and in the 3rd revolution (about 2 mm). I mounted the 2-12x44 on a very compact .300 blk AR. With this backpack gun, I can shoot and hit over 700 meters (subsonic !) with 290 clicks (29 mil) and using the 12 mil reticle. The 10m side focus (parallax) let me also adjust a super sharp and clear picture for close range pinpoint accuracy. The SCFF-69 RAR reticle with the big ring around the center also helps perfectly for fast shots at 2x zoom. This ring disappears out after zooming up about 7x. All I need for my compact sniper setup ! I strongly recommend the 2-12x44 FFP Continental to every serious shooter who wants a high quality compact scope at a very reasonable price.
